Výstava se koná v rámci Týdne Akademie věd České republiky a Dnů otevřených dveří Historického ústavu AV ČR ve dnech 3. až 7. listopadu 2025 v 1. patře budovy Historického ústavu na Proseku u studovny (výstava je přístupná v době od 9:00 do 16:00).
This exhibition presents the history of the Order of the Golden Fleece, founded in 1430 by Duke Philip the Good as a symbol of faith, chivalric ideals, and prestige. After being acquired by the Habsburgs, the Order gained significance in the Czech lands, where it was granted to loyal Catholic nobles. For the Central European nobility, it also served as a means to express ties to the Spanish Habsburgs and to enhance their prestige, social standing, and loyalty to the dynasty.
