Synthesis wishes to offer a complete picture of society in Moravia since mid-18th century to beginning of 20th century. The selected period enables to capture continuity in modern time development in Central Europe, starting with Theresian reforms and ending with World War I. It shall cover all the processes that accompanied transition from feudal structures to modern civil society. The synthesis will combine narrative and explicative strategies, history of events and history of social and mentality structures, and will comprise political, social and cultural phenomena.
