The present publication deliberately avoids the usual court topics such as ceremonies (ceremonies, baptisms, marriages, etc.), since these topics have already been covered in previous volumes initiated by the Centre for Research on Courts and Residences at the Institute of History of the CAS. The layout of the chapters therefore deliberately brings into focus the situations of the everyday life of the clergy, their activities in the everyday life of the court, and concentrates on ecclesiastical and secular architecture and literature.
