The book presents one of the oldest detailed maps of Prague, created in 1790/1791 thanks to Franz Anton Leonhard Herget (1741–1800), professor at the Estates School of Engineering. The basis of the book is a facsimile of a map on a scale of 1:1 with a commented register and a detailed description. The book focuses on the personality of F. A. L. Herget and the circumstances of the map's creation. Furthermore, provide information about its recent restoration, which contributed significantly to preserving this unique cartographic document.
