This proceedings contains the printed versions of the conference papers together with a film bibliography. The individual contributions review the development and current state of specialized bibliographies (literary, linguistic, book-studies, musicological, theatre, archaeological, pedagogical, medical, and historical), consider their practical use, and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of existing library systems. They also examine the scope of the bibliographical corpus, current staffing conditions, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on bibliographical work. Each paper concludes with ideas for future development and proposals for the further advancement of this important area of bibliographical activity. The issues of artificial intelligence and digital libraries were also presented.

Both the printed book and the electronic PDF edition, which is available for download, can be found on the e-shop website.
