Est. 1956 as a part of the Institute´ library, they resume the Bibliography of Czech History, published since 1905 as a supplement of The Czech Historical Review, later as the periodical volume issued by the Historical Club. The team cooperates on the Bibliographie zur Geschichte der Böhmischen Ländern und der Slowakei and electronic bibliographical database of Central and East European history with the Basic Information Center of the Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Herder Institut in Marburg.

Projects:

1. Periodical yearbooks (Bibliography of History of the Czech Lands)

    contain the bibliographical data on the international production to Bohemian
    and Czech history and production of Czech authors in Bohemian/Czech as
    well as world history.

2. Electronic databases of scholarly production in historical sciences:

• Database „BIBLIO“ – literature to the history of the Czech Lands since 1990.
  It contains records about monographs and articles in periodicals and collections
  of historical orientation, with the bohemical character (Czech author, Czech
  topic, published in Czech Republic). It´s updated quarterly.
• Database „BDCZ1“ – bibliography of the Czech Historical Review 1895-2002.
  Working database of one hundred volumes of the leading scientific historical journal.
• Database „ASEP" – bibliography of the scientific workers of the Institute
  of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
